About

Who builds this, and why the claims look the way they do.

MasterTheBook is an AI study coach — not a reader, a summary service, or a notes app. This page states what the product is, how we source mechanism claims, and how to reach us.

Don't just read it, Master it.

What it is

Most reading produces familiarity that fades within weeks. MasterTheBook is an AI study coach built on a century of memory research — retrieval practice, adaptive spaced review, calibration, and a five-stage Transfer Ladder from recall to critique. It coaches you through each book, tracks what you can actually retrieve and apply, and gives serious readers a defensible record of what they have mastered.

Who builds it

MasterTheBook is built and operated as an independent product. We do not publish a named founder biography or advisor list here until those facts are approved for the public site — inventing credentials would undermine the trust this page is meant to earn.

What we will stand behind today: the product definition above, the research citations on the science page, and a direct line for questions and content concerns.

How claims are sourced

Mechanism claims cite named studies with year and finding. Outcome stats — retention rates, NPS, "X% of users" — are not used until we have real cohort data. Catalog counts come from the live book registry, not hand-typed copy.
